Maintenance Mechanic
AGT Foods is looking for a Maintenance Mechanic. The applicant must be energetic, self‑motivated, physically fit, and able to work at heights when needed.
Responsibilities
Preventative maintenance for the processing plants and equipment
Day‑to‑day repairs such as bearings, belts and gearboxes
Planning, coordinating and implementing plant repairs and projects
Maintain records for all maintenance and repairs on plant equipment
Maintain and procure supplies and parts inventories
Operate hand tools, power tools and man lifts safely
Qualifications
Experience with welding is an asset but not required
Ability to work in adverse weather conditions as necessary
Mechanic aptitude
Willingness to work overtime as required
Demonstrated knowledge of industrial machinery, including grain handling and cleaning systems
