High-Level Description
nThe Senior Civil Engineer can serve as the engineering lead on assigned facilities projects. This includes overseeing the design for projects executed by third party engineering firms to ensure they are in compliance with Company and Industry standards and specifications and managed to the project scope, budget, and schedule. Liaise with other internal functional groups within Project Execution, Operations and Shared Services to ensure project and company requirements are achieved and incorporated into the design deliverables

esTakes ownership for and oversees the engineering project scope, schedule, capital cost estimate, execution planning, risks and supporting information related to assigned projects from project development through closeo

utEnsures that all assigned projects are designed fit for purpose and in accordance with all regulations, environmental, health and safety, applicable industry codes, and corporate standards. E.g: building cod

esManages, reviews, and approves the execution of the design deliverables by a third-party engineering firm e.g. drawings, technical reports and material listing sheets against the project budget and schedu

leManage reviews of technical reports (e.g: Geotech Borehole SOW, aquifer assessments, structural analysis for steel or concrete structures, et

c)Reviews vendor materials quotations, evaluates technical bids and recommends selections based on technical merit along with price and delivery. Collaborates with Supply Chain to procure material via internal tool
