This role offers versatile shifts across days, evenings, nights, and weekends in Ajax-Pickering. You will report to the Manager of Inpatient Medicine in the Acute Medicine department. Responsibilities include assessing and implementing nursing care, taking vital signs, and administering medications. The position requires effective communication and the ability to work in a multidisciplinary setting while focusing on personal patient care and safety. Key Responsibilities:
Assess and evaluate patient healthcare needs
Administer medications and monitor IVs
Conduct physical assessments and vital signs checks




Set up medical equipment and provide patient care
Collaborate with the healthcare team for family-centered care Requirements:
Registered Practical Nurse Diploma and current certification
Minimum of 1 year experience in medical/surgical units
Current CPR/BCLS certification and ability to perform CPR
Agreement to complete additional courses within 6 months
