This role offers the chance to provide specialized care on Saturdays and Sundays, from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., totaling 24 hours per week. You will perform nursing assessments, coordinate care plans, and respond to medical emergencies while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team of healthcare specialists.
Key Responsibilities:
• Complete nursing assessments and health-care plans
• Respond to medical concerns and emergencies
• Administer treatments within CNO standards
• Monitor medications and coordinate care recommendations
• Educate staff and families on health conditions
Requirements:
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing
• Current RN registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Post-graduate experience with developmental disabilities
• Robust assessment and problem-solving skills
• Independent and effective communication abilities
