Lead innovations in vehicle dynamics as a Vehicle Motion Control AI/ML Platform Design Engineer at General Motors. This hybrid role includes designing advanced algorithms for motion systems.
The successful candidate will be expected to report to the Markham Elevation Center at least three times weekly. You will design and implement cutting-edge algorithms focusing on steering, braking, and motion control, bridging theoretical knowledge and practical skills in machine learning.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and execute control and estimation algorithms
• Apply simulations to validate advanced control strategies
• Support integration testing in CarSim and similar platforms
• Engage in data gathering and analysis for AI training
• Produce documentation and reports for cross-functional teams
Requirements:
• M.S. or Ph.D. in Engineering or Applied Mathematics
• Experience in Python and machine learning frameworks
• Knowledge of vehicle dynamics tools and simulations
• Solid analytical skills and team collaboration
• Valid driver’s license for test scenarios
