Base Salary: CAD $120,000 – $150,000 per annum, plus eligibility for an uncapped, performance-based commission/bonus plan in accordance with company policy, tied to individual and enterprise revenue performance.

Role Overview
We are seeking a high-performing Enterprise Account Executive to drive new business growth across the Canadian market, with a focus on innovation-driven and industrial enterprise organizations.
This is a senior, quota-carrying hunter role responsible for originating, developing, and closing complex, high-value enterprise deals. You will manage multi-stakeholder sales cycles involving senior leaders across Finance, Tax, Operations, and Strategy.
The ideal candidate brings strong enterprise sales experience, a consultative approach, and (ideally) exposure to R&D; tax credits, innovation incentives, or qualified services / financial advisory environments, which is considered a strong asset.
You will act as a trusted advisor to senior executives, translating complex tax and funding opportunities into clear commercial value.
Key Responsibilities
Own the full sales cycle from prospecting to negotiation and close
Develop tailored, consultative value propositions aligned with client financial and strategic priorities
Consistently achieve and exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets
Identify expansion opportunities across existing enterprise relationships
Strategic Pipeline Ownership
Build and manage a high-quality, sustainable enterprise pipeline
Focus on quality opportunities rather than volume
Maintain disciplined CRM management, forecasting accuracy, and pipeline hygiene
Manage long, complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles with consistency and structure
Advisory Selling & Client Engagement
Engage and influence senior decision-makers, including C-level executives
Translate complex tax, R&D;, and incentive structures into clear commercial value
Develop strong working knowledge across Leyton’s full service portfolio
Collaborate closely with internal consulting teams to ensure seamless client delivery and success
Remain commercially engaged post-close through renewals, expansions, and multi-service growth opportunities
Ecosystem & Referral Development
Build and maintain partnerships with CPAs, law firms, and strategic referral sources
Develop and strengthen external networks that support long-term pipeline generation
Position Leyton as a trusted advisory partner within the professional services ecosystem
Executive Networking & Market Presence
This is a highly external-facing role requiring consistent engagement in senior commercial and professional environments.
You will be expected to:
Lead executive-level meetings and relationship development initiatives
Build strategic partnerships with accounting firms, law firms, and industry advisors
Represent Leyton at industry events, executive dinners, and networking forums
Engage face-to-face with senior decision-makers across enterprise organizations
Strengthen Leyton’s presence and credibility within the Canadian enterprise ecosystem
Build long-term relationships that generate sustained commercial opportunity and market influence
What we are looking for
5–10+ years of experience in enterprise sales, strategic account acquisition, or complex B2B solution selling
Proven track record of selling to large enterprise accounts and closing complex B2B solutions
Strong preference for candidates with experience managing long, consultative, multi-stakeholder sales cycles
Strong preference for experience in R&D; Tax Credits, innovation incentives, tax advisory, consulting, or professional services
Alternatively, strong enterprise sales experience within manufacturing, industrial, or enterprise software environments
Proven track record in quota-carrying hunter roles with measurable results
Strong ability to manage complex, long-cycle enterprise deals with multiple stakeholders
Exceptional consultative selling and commercial acumen
Strong executive presence and communication skills
Highly disciplined approach to pipeline and account management
Self-driven, resilient, and motivated by high-performance environments
Nice-to-Haves
Experience in management consulting, financial advisory, or professional services environments
Familiarity with CRM tools such as Salesforce and sales engagement platforms (e.g., SalesLoft) Background in selling intangible products or services
Formal training in structured sales methodologies (e.g., MEDDIC, Challenger, SPIN)
Required Skills & Qualifications
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Engineering, Marketing, or related field
Graduation from a top-ranked university is considered an asset
Professional certifications or business training considered an asset
