Day to day operations include excavation, earth moving, site development, aggregate production, and paving.
We are currently looking for an experienced Excavator/Dozer Operator to work on a project near Jan Lake, SK on Hwy 135.
Job Details
Excavator work moving material roadside.
Excavator work heling driller/blast and matting.
Must prioritize safety of self and others in all aspects of the job.
Perform daily maintenance and safety checks of equipment.
Clean, lubricate and refill equipment as necessary.
Ensure a sound understanding of the issues involving ground disturbance.
3 years experience operating excavator in earth moving/construction setting.
Experience operating equipment such as dozers, excavators, and front end loaders.
Experience with road construction, slopes and finishing work an asset.
Demonstrate skill in the identification of key hazards and use of strategies to work safely, such as stability of soils, edges, excavations, stability of machine, and awareness of position, clearance, safe movement, other machinery/vehicles/workers.
Overtime available.

Qualifications
Past proven experience in road building or site development.
The ability to lay material to finish grade.
Be able to work long hours.
Strong attention to detail.
Responsibility for yourself and others in a safety conscious workplace.
You must be physically fit for duty and able to lift up to 50lbs.
Applicants must have steel‑toe CSA safety footwear.
