Champion First Nations infrastructure and economic initiatives as the Senior Director at the Assembly of First Nations (AFN). This pivotal role focuses on strategic planning and robust collaboration. In this position, the Senior Director will spearhead the Economic Development and Infrastructure Branch's initiatives, reporting to the CEO. The role requires nurturing relationships with First Nations leaders and government stakeholders, coupled with policy advocacy for economic development. Candidates should have significant senior leadership experience and a solid comprehension of the challenges facing First Nations. Key Responsibilities:
Lead the development and execution of strategic initiatives
Collaborate on national economic advocacy strategies
Maintain positive relationships with community leaders
Provide policy recommendations to AFN leadership
Represent AFN at key regional and national events Requirements:
University degree in relevant fields
At least five years in senior management positions
Proven experience with First Nations governance
Solid analytical and critical thinking skills
