Step into the role of Lead Railway Maintenance Engineer at Heritage Park, where your leadership will ensure that steam trains are properly maintained for an engaging visitor experience. This full time position means overseeing mechanical functions and coordinating safety operations.

You will serve as the primary contact for all mechanical operations while leading a dedicated team of specialists. Engage in coaching and training staff, and make sure that daily inspections meet all Alberta regulations. Your hands-on experience will drive operational success at the park.

Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain daily operation standards for steam trains
• Assign and monitor tasks for seasonal staff members
• Provide feedback for Chief Engineer reports




• Supervise inspections and minor repairs performed by staff
• Maintain compliance with regulatory safety standards

Requirements:
• 4th Class Power Engineer certification required
• Minimum of one year mechanical experience necessary
• Six months of leadership experience preferred
• Background as a Locomotive Engineer is an asset
• Excellent client-facing communication skills a must
