We are seeking a seasoned Corporate Quality Assurance Manager to lead and continuously improve enterprise-wide quality systems across multiple manufacturing sites. Reporting to senior leadership, this role is responsible for ensuring incoming and outgoing product quality meets customer and regulatory requirements, driving supplier development, and maintaining full compliance with ISO 9001:2015 and IATF 16949 standards.
This is a highly visible leadership role with direct impact on customer satisfaction, supplier performance, cost of quality, and continuous improvement across the organization.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Champion a culture of quality, transparency, continuous improvement, and corrective action across all locations
Lead and manage all Corporate Quality Assurance personnel, including performance management, hiring, training, and employee development
Coach and support plant-level Quality Managers and Assistant Quality Managers to build strong, capable quality teams
Ensure robust secure launch processes are in place for all new program launches
Serve as the primary customer quality liaison, including escalation management and single-point-of-contact structures
Plan, coordinate, and oversee internal and external audits to ISO 9001:2015 and IATF 16949 standards
Ensure corrective actions from audits and non-conformances are implemented and effectively read across all sites
Oversee calibration, testing, and measurement systems, ensuring accuracy and compliance with quality standards
Evaluate and introduce recent inspection methods and testing technologies to improve efficiency and effectiveness
Manage quality-related budgeting and track performance against targets
Lead root cause analysis, defect reduction initiatives, Pareto analysis, waivers of deviation, and corrective actions
Oversee warranty analysis and ensure compliance with applicable CQI requirements
Drive supplier quality and development initiatives, including audits, performance tracking, escalation, and continuous improvement
Support Purchasing and Engineering in supplier selection using a risk-based approach
Ensure APQP, FMEA, PPAP, and Control Plans are completed and maintained for all new or modified programs
Maintain Cost of Quality reporting to provide financial visibility into quality performance
Prepare and present monthly quality metrics, trends, and improvement plans to senior management
Travel as required for supplier audits and site reviews
What You’ll Need To Be Successful:
Degree in a related discipline; CQM, VDA, or IATF Lead Auditor certification considered an asset
Lead IATF Auditor certification preferred; CQE and Green or Black Belt strongly valued
10+ years of progressive quality experience, including 5+ years in automotive quality management
Strong working knowledge of Class A surface requirements, APQP, FMEA, 8D, and Control Plans
Experience with exterior Class A surface products is an asset
Proven leadership experience managing multi-site teams and cross-functional stakeholders
Deep understanding of ISO 9001:2015, IATF 16949, and OEM customer-specific requirements
Strong analytical, communication, and change‑management skills
Comfortable operating at both strategic and hands‑on levels
