Overview Of The Role
Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, the Millwright is responsible for reactive, preventative, and predictive maintenance and troubleshooting of manufacturing and packaging equipment.
Hourly Rate
Hourly Rate: $46.04/h, with an evening premium ($1.00/h) and a night premium ($1.30/h).
Schedule
We offer a fixed schedule on a rotating shift from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
5 work days, followed by 4 days off
5 work days, followed by 5 days off
4 work days, followed by 5 days off

Responsibilities
Carries out reactive, predictive, and preventative maintenance on plant equipment
Troubleshoots and repairs equipment during breakdowns to minimize downtime
Installs and modifies equipment, repairing parts where necessary
Works effectively in a processing environment without jeopardizing food safety
Follows company policies and safety-first culture while continuously improving standards
Collaborates with other trades groups to complete project assignments
Performs other duties as assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor or designated leadership
Qualifications
Millwright with a journeyperson ticket/license or certificate of qualification
Proven hands‑on experience within the food industry or a high‑speed packaging plant (preferred)
Excellent troubleshooting skills and ability to work collaboratively with all departments
Highly motivated initiator, able to work independently with minimal supervision
Effective communication skills, able to complete computer‑based work orders
