Corporate Actuarial Advisor
This role plays a key part in financial analysis, risk management, and strategic decision‑making, directly supporting the Corporate Finance and Actuarial Vice Presidency. It offers a unique opportunity to grow in an environment where actuarial rigor, meaningful impact, and strategic influence come together.
What You’ll Accomplish With Us
Evaluate technical reserves in accordance with recognized standards and industry best practices
Prepare the Appointed Actuary’s Report and actuarial financial statements
Develop financial projections (premiums, claims, commissions, etc.) to support business planning
Contribute to capital analyses (FCT and ORSA) and risk modeling initiatives
Analyze product profitability and provide optimization recommendations
Contribute to the design and optimization of reinsurance programs
Develop and monitor actuarial performance indicators while supporting the continuous improvement of practices and processes
Coordinate actuarial activities and deliverables presented to governance bodies
Act as a subject matter expert by supporting the team in resolving complex issues and prioritizing work
Produce strategic analyses to support decision‑making
Collaborate closely with business partners to align actuarial priorities with organizational objectives
What Will Help You Succeed In This Role
A Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science
Minimum of four years of actuarial experience in the Property & Casualty insurance industry
Strong knowledge of actuarial standards and industry practices
Solid financial modeling and quantitative analysis skills
Advanced understanding of actuarial methodologies and best practices
Proficiency with Excel and the Microsoft Office Suite, statistical programming tools (SAS or equivalent) and Power BI
FCAS/FCIA designation (a strong asset)
Intermediate level of English proficiency to interact occasionally with unilingual English‑speaking partners (approximately 15% of the time)
