In this role, you will support leaders and HR Business Partners by managing sensitive employee relations issues while balancing organizational policies. You will conduct risk assessments, recommend legally sound strategies, and coach leaders on resolving workplace conflicts. Collaborating with various internal teams, you will help shape policies that reflect industry best practices and organizational values.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage complex performance management and disciplinary issues
• Resolve sensitive issues including harassment and whistleblowing
• Conduct thorough investigations and need assessments
• Ensure policies adhere to legal standards and best practices
• Collaborate with stakeholders for consistency in employee relations
Requirements:
• 5-7 years of experience in employee relations
• Strong understanding of Canadian employment law
• Proven ability in handling sensitive workplace issues
• High level of discretion and sound judgment
• Degree in HR or related field, with CHRP/CHRL an asset
