Set to start on January 1, 2027, this continuing 1.00 FTE role demands expertise in psychological assessments and a commitment to student success. As a School Psychologist, you will assess referred students using effective assessment methods and collaborate with educators to develop targeted strategies and interventions. Additionally, you'll support families and community agencies in facilitating smooth transitions for students.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess students using valid psycho-educational methods
• Collaborate on effective strategies for student learning
• Utilize assessment data for individualized program planning
• Provide insight for identification and referral processes
• Support families and school teams in educational planning
Requirements:
• Master’s degree in school psychology or related field
• CPBC registration required by May 1, 2024
• Knowledge of intelligence and curriculum-based assessments
• Experience in educational systems with assessment knowledge
• Ability to create meaningful recommendations for students
