About the Role
The Manager of Business Analytics role leverages data and analytics to support topline performance, improve franchisee profitability, and guide decision‑making across the Canadian business. This role is suited for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced environment, is naturally curious, and enjoys using data to solve complex business problems in partnership with Marketing, Operations, and cross‑functional teams.
Responsibilities
Partner with Operations, Marketing, and cross‑functional teams to evaluate performance trends and deliver actionable insights that drive sales, traffic, productivity, and profitability
Support Marketing with campaign performance reporting, market‑level analysis, and insights that inform strategy and planning
Design and execute test market and pilot analyses — including forecasting, pre/post evaluation, and recommendations that shape national rollout decisions
Build and maintain dashboards, reporting tools, and automated workflows that improve visibility and free up capacity for deeper analysis
Support the development of the Annual Operating Plan through analytical inputs, including historical trend analysis, scenario modelling, and performance benchmarks that inform Canadian business targets
Collaborating with Global partners to share learnings and best practices
Provide ad‑hoc decision‑support to business leaders as needed
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Analytics, Business, Math, Statistics or related field required.
3-5 years of experience in analytics, business insights, or business intelligence—preferably in consumer‑facing, retail, or multi‑unit businesses
Advanced ability in SQL and Excel are required; proficiency with BI tools like Alteryx and Tableau, as well as statistical programs like R and Python are considered an asset
Experience with agentic agents (Claude-preferred)
Strong business and data analytics acumen with the ability to simplify complex data into clear business outcomes
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to operate in a fast‑paced and dynamic environment
Solid relationship‑building and influencing skills
Experience in QSR, retail, or multi‑unit environments considered an asset
Interpersonal, relationship‑building and networking skills with a self‑motivated attitude to work.
Language requirements: Fluent in English – any additional language a plus.
