Certified Heavy Duty Mechanic – High Level, Alberta
We are looking for a Certified Heavy Duty Mechanic to join our largest sawmill, located in High Level , Alberta. Your work will keep our equipment running safely and efficiently. Our Ideal Candidate

Experience working as a Heavy Duty Mechanic with a valid Interprovincial ticket.

Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.

Ability to read blueprints, diagrams and schematics and consistently follow work processes and procedures .

Recognizes opportunities for improvement and cost‑savings .

Strong communication skills.

Ability to work independently and with a team.

We welcome applications from strong third‑year apprentices who demonstrate the required skills and commitment.

In This Role You Will

Use your knowledge and experience to troubleshoot, analyze, diagnose, lubricate and perform maintenance work on a variety of machinery.

Tackle equipment issues before they arise through preventive and predictive maintenance programs .





Put safety first while operating hoisting and lifting devices to position machinery and parts during the assembly, installation, set‑up and repair of equipment and machinery.

Inspect and examine machinery and equipment to detect and investigate irregularities and malfunctions.
