Join Pomerleau as a Surveying Technician to support our civil engineering projects. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring accurate measurements and effective project execution on large construction sites.

We are looking for a surveying technician to work within our civil engineering and infrastructure team at Pomerleau. You will conduct field surveys, place markers for construction, and keep all project stakeholders updated on progress. The position requires 1 to 2 years of civil construction experience to ensure effective supervision and communication on complex projects ranging from 1.5 million to over one billion dollars.

Key Responsibilities:
• Use surveying instruments for field data collection
• Set out construction points and markers accurately




• Communicate essential project information to teams
• Supervise work to ensure compliance with specifications
• Collaborate to build a positive team workplace

Requirements:
• DEP, AEC, or surveying/civil engineering Certificate
• 1-2 years of experience in civil construction
• Valid ASP Construction & SIMDUT 2015 certifications
• Class 5 driver’s license required
• Proficient with surveying technology (GPS, total station)
