The Role
As a Personal Lines Account Manager at Schill Insurance, you’ll deliverexceptional service to our clients while identifying opportunities to go aboveand beyond their expectations. You’ll play a key role in building strong clientrelationships, managing policies, and supporting the continued growth of ourPersonal Lines business.
This role is ideal for an experienced insurance professional who thrivesin a client-facing environment and takes pride in delivering high-quality,responsive service.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
Deliver Outstanding Client Service
Greet walk-in clients and visitors in acourteous and professional manner
Answer incoming calls promptly andprofessionally, ensuring client needs are addressed
Respond to client inquiries and return callsin a timely manner
Produce clear, professional writtencorrespondence in line with company standards
Manage and Grow Personal Lines Business
Solicit, sell, and service Personal Linesinsurance for new and existing clients
Identify opportunities to up-sell andcross-sell by obtaining expiry dates and understanding client needs
Underwrite new and renewal business inaccordance with company guidelines
Proactively review renewals, communicatepremium changes, and re-market policies as needed to retain business
Policy Administration & Accuracy
Process renewals, endorsements, andcancellations following established procedures
Accurately enter and maintain client data,transactions, and notes in EPIC
Maintain complete and up-to-date clientrecords to support team collaboration
Create and follow up on abeyances foroutstanding underwriting items and client requests
Billing & Financial Responsibility
Collect and process direct bill and agencybill premiums
Ensure accurate documentation of payments inEPIC
Maintain zero accounts receivable by ensuringtimely and complete payments
Claims & Client Advocacy
Assist clients with claims by gatheringinformation and coordinating with insurers
Act as an advocate for clients to help resolveissues and ensure a smooth claims experience
Auto Insurance Support
Assist with all types of auto insurancetransactions, including renewals, transfers, changes, permits,cancellations, and new plates
Support commercial auto, fleets, and specialtycoverages as needed
Handle general auto insurance inquiries withconfidence and accuracy
Collaboration & Professional Development
Build and maintain robust relationships withexternal partners, including underwriters, ICBC, and industry associations
Continuously develop technical knowledge andstay up to date on insurance products and industry trends
Support team operations and step in whereneeded to meet business needs
What You Bring
Must-Haves
Level 2 General Insurance License
Minimum 3 years of experience selling PersonalLines insurance
Strong customer service andrelationship-building skills
Excellent communication skills (written andverbal)
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Nice-to-Have
Experience using EPIC broker management system
