Support youth in crisis as a full-time Restorative Justice Youth Program Facilitator in Kapuskasing. This essential role requires providing intervention services focused on community reintegration and mental health.
As a member of the Youth Justice Team, you will be responsible for developing the emotional and social skills of youth involved in the justice system. Candidates must have a background in Criminology, Law and Justice, or Social Work, alongside the ability to provide community interventions and support mental wellness while working flexible schedule throughout the catchment area.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide direct support to youth in the criminal justice system
• Foster problem-solving and coping skills through intervention
• Facilitate restorative practices and programming
• Engage families in youth rehabilitation efforts
• Be prepared for travel and flexible scheduling needs
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in a relevant field
• Experience with legal policies related to youth
• Excellent communication and analytical skills
• Bilingual in English and French
• Minimum G2 license, with a goal to obtain G Class
Contribute to the success and well-being of youth in Kapuskasing through dedicated support and restorative justice practices.
