Raise is seeking an experienced C-SOX Auditor for a 5-month contract with their client, a leader in Alberta's electric system operations. In this role, you'll report to the Lead Auditor and ensure independent, risk-based assurance over Internal Controls Over Financial Reporting (ICFR). Your focus will be on non-IT controls while engaging in in-depth evaluation of financial processes.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assess design and operational effectiveness of C-SOX controls
• Prepare comprehensive documentation for each control
• Develop test plans and coordinate with IT auditors




• Maintain the C-SOX status dashboard for tracking
• Prepare summaries of control deficiencies and recommendations

Requirements:
• Over 8 years in internal audit or related roles
• Robust knowledge of IIA Standards and SOX regulations
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Experience in the electricity industry is an asset
• Professional CPA or CIA certification required
