high performance and a culture of safety and accountability.Role Overview/Purpose:Reporting to the Site Services Supervisor, the Heavy Equipment Operator (Infrastructure)'s key responsibilities are storage area maintenance, equipment operation, and materials handling.Primary Responsibilities:Inspection of equipment before and after use to ensure proper functionalityLoading, unloading, and moving materials to appropriate storage areasExcavation of trenches for buried servicesFollowing all safety procedures while operating equipmentPerforming regular maintenance (refuelling, fluid checks, lubrication) and minor repairs when necessaryReporting equipment issues, unusual conditions, and spillage immediately to SupervisorStaging materials to be brought down for Underground OperationsMaintaining good housekeeping at storage areasSnow removal during winter monthsOther activities as assignedSkills, Knowledge, Qualifications and Experience:Possess a valid Canadian driver's license and explicit driver's abstractMinimum 5 years' experience as heavy equipment operator (excavator, loader, and forklift)Slinging and rigging trainingAbility to identify difference between normal wear, unusual wear and damageKnowledge of WHMIS, including familiarity with chemical products' use, disposal and safety data sheet applicationsCompleted secondary school or GEDA commitment to health, safety, environment,
