We are on the lookout for a dedicated Expert Freshwater Aquarist to lead aquatic husbandry processes and enhance customer experiences. This role combines advanced aquarium maintenance, effective team leadership, and customer engagement. You'll be responsible for the health of a diverse range of aquatic life and educating customers on successful fishkeeping practices.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee fish, invertebrates, and plant health
• Carry out essential husbandry tasks daily
• Manage filtration systems and algae issues
• Foster customer relationships and educate on aquatic care
• Maintain inventory and track livestock conditions
Requirements:
• 2+ years of hands-on aquarium experience
• Proficient in water chemistry and filtration
• Robust communication and leadership skills
• Preferred experience in retail or public aquariums
• High school diploma; relevant education is advantageous
