Living Sky School Division is seeking a School Counsellor to join our Learning Services team. School Counsellors play a vital role in supporting the mental health, well‑being, and success of students. Working collaboratively with school staff, families, and community partners, the successful candidate will provide preventative, responsive, and developmental supports that help students thrive academically, socially, emotionally, and behaviourally. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and youth while working within a collaborative and student‑centered school division committed to wellness and belonging.

The Role

- Provide responsive counselling supports for students individually and in groups
- Support student well‑being through preventative and capacity‑building initiatives
- Assist schools in responding to behavioural,



emotional, social, and mental health concerns
- Collaborate with school teams, families, and community agencies to support student success
- Participate in crisis response and critical incident support when required
- Promote positive mental health, resilience, and healthy relationships
