The Chair’s responsibility includes mentoring faculty and students, while promoting cooperative research initiatives with Indigenous communities in Yukon to support social work practices.Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a strategic research program
- Integrate Indigenous knowledge into social work education
- Supervise student research projects and mentoring
- Cultivate partnerships with Indigenous and academic communities
- Promote trauma-informed and decolonized approachesRequirements:
- A completed PhD or similar Indigenous qualification
- Knowledge of federal and territorial research programs
- Proven experience in project management and proposal writing
