Main Responsibilities
Validate requirements and ensure the execution of purchase order delivery;
Manage purchase order placement and administration of related activities (receipt, snags, invoices, inventory, safety stock parameters...).
Analyze delivery delays and prioritize supplier deliveries to minimize impact on the production chain;
Manage the short-term and long-term operational plan (retrofit, shortages...);
Ensure supplier interaction (on-site or remote visits) with cross-functional teams to implement corrective and preventive measures;
Build strong relationships with internal teams such as Supply Chain Quality Management (SCQM), Compliance Management (CM), Engineering, Methods, Quality, Production and Strategic Sourcing;
Manage parts with non-conformities (Repair, Returns...)
Provide global visibility of stock levels. Obtain and monitor supplier action plans to maintain an optimal level;
Define the recovery plan with production teams if necessary. Understand the global "VSM" (Value Stream Mapping) of your respective products.
Job Requirements
You hold a Bachelor's degree in Operations Management or Industrial Management OR a college diploma in the same fields, with two (2) years or more of experience.
You have good priority management and multitasking skills.
You have good knowledge of software such as Excel, Access and Lotus Notes.
You have knowledge and experience with SAP.
You have APICS certification.
You are bilingual (French and English written and spoken).
You have 2 to 5 years of experience in a similar position.
