Turn brand strategy into growth at the shelf.
We're looking for a Channel Marketing Manager to own the channel roadmap for a portfolio of leading paint and coatings brands. In this role, you'll be the bridge between our brands and our biggest retail and dealer partners — translating strategy into promotions, merchandising and activations that move the business forward.
You’ll work shoulder-to-shoulder with Sales, National Accounts and Brand Marketing, and you’ll be the marketing face our key customers know and trust. If you like building plans and seeing them come to life in-store, this one's for you.
What you'll do
Develop and execute annual channel marketing plans tied to business and customer goals
Build and manage the channel roadmap: promotions, merchandising, activations and customer initiatives
Translate brand strategies into customer-specific plans and spot opportunities to lift channel performance
Act as the primary marketing contact for key retail customers and dealer partners
Partner with Account Managers and Sales to advance customer objectives
Lead customer-facing presentations and own the marketing content for Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs)
Build strong relationships across customer marketing, merchandising and operations teams
Promotions, activations & merchandising
Design and execute customer-specific promotional and activation plans aligned to brand strategy
Support merchandising programs, off-shelf opportunities and seasonal initiatives
Maximize program visibility and coordinate execution across brands, customers and internal teams
Cross-functional collaboration & events
Partner with Brand Marketing, Product Management, Supply Chain and Operations to keep programs on-strategy
Build business cases and strategic recommendations
Lead planning and execution of customer events, trade shows and conferences
What you bring
5+ years in Channel Marketing, Trade Marketing, Customer Marketing, Category Management, Retail Marketing or a related commercial role
Experience supporting large retail customers, dealer networks or major channel partners
Background in paint, coatings, home improvement, building products or consumer goods (preferred)
Experience at a manufacturer or vendor organization (strongly preferred)
Strong project management, presentation and analytical skills
A natural collaborator who can influence across functions and hold your own with senior stakeholders
Bilingual (French and English) required as will need to support Canadian business
