Join Mount Royal University as an After Hours Peer Support Program Coordinator. This critical role offers expert guidance in mental health crises and coordinates vital support services.

Reporting to the Healthy Campus Team Manager, this full-time limited-term position requires assessment, crisis intervention skills, and administrative oversight. You'll supervise after-hours volunteers and practicum students, ensuring effective and compassionate responses to mental health crises. The Coordinator also leads wellness initiatives to promote awareness and prevention across the campus while maintaining compliance with relevant legislation.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop after-hours mental health support services
• Provide crisis intervention for MRU community members




• Supervise practicum students and evaluate performance
• Coordinate peer support café program implementation
• Design and promote health initiatives collaboratively

Requirements:
• Bachelor's in Social Work or related field
• 3–5 years related experience in crisis management
• Expertise in gender-based violence support
• Strong crisis intervention and communication skills
• Experience in educational and team-oriented environments

Lead after-hours mental health support initiatives at Mount Royal University while fostering a compassionate and inclusive community.
