The Opportunity Harbour Air is seeking an experienced, safety- and service-oriented seaplane pilot to captain the DHC-3T Otter. You will operate scheduled and charter flights along the Southern British Columbia coastal regions, based out of Vancouver. This is a seasonal role with training provided for non-type-rated pilots.

What You Will Do Captain DHC-3T seaplane operations across coastal routes, ensuring safe, efficient, and on-time performance.
Conduct thorough preflight planning, weather and sea-state assessments, and performance calculations for float operations.
Deliver exceptional customer service, greeting and briefing passengers and creating a memorable Harbour Air experience.
Coordinate closely with dispatch, dock, and maintenance teams; uphold SOPs and regulatory requirements at all times.
Exercise sound judgment in dynamic coastal environments; adapt to changing conditions while maintaining high airmanship standards.




Support both scheduled services and bespoke charters with professionalism and flexibility.

Minimum Qualifications Total PIC: 1000 hours
Float Time: 750 hours on floats
Licences: TCCA CPL with Float Rating
Medical: Class 1
ICAO ELP: Level 4
Type Rating: Not required (training provided)
Visa Sponsorship: Not provided
Preferred Experience DHC-3T time and familiarity with turbine Otter operations.
Coastal flying experience in Southern BC or similar maritime environments.
