Pharmacy inventory maintenance (including front store)
Ensuring proper preparation, packaging, distribution and storage of vaccines, serums, biologicals and other drugs and pharmaceuticals.
Maintain patient confidentiality per Privacy Act
Managing specialty pharmacy programs
Other duties as required to ensure operations of the pharmacy meet and/or exceed OH&S; requirements, professional standards, provincial and federal regulations
Requirements:
Minimum of 1 years as a practicing pharmacist
Licensed and in valuable standing with SCPP
Strong sense of professionalism
Superior patient and physician relation skills
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
Ability to prioritize tasks and strong problem solving skills
Excellent leadership and performance management skills an asset
Experience streamlining workflows and improving processes is an asset
Experience with budgeting and creating business proposals is an asset
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
Working experience with Kroll Pharmacy dispensing software an asset
Longterm Care experience preferred but not essential
