The North Coast Ecology Centre Society is hiring up to two Environmental Educators for Summer 2026.This is more than a summer job. It's an opportunity to gain real‐world environmental education experience, build practical field skills, and help shape a growing community Ecology Centre on a coastline teeming with marine life.What You'll Actually Be DoingAs an Environmental Educator, you'll be part of a small, passionate team bringing marine science to life. In addition to working at the Centre, in May and June, you'll support school programming and in July and August, you will help with EcoCamp day camps and community programming. The NCECS is also leading a dockside biodiversity study and supporting a light trap study throughout summer months.You will:Open, operate, and close the Centre alongside staff and volunteersCollect and provide exemplary care for live marine invertebratesDevelop and deliver interactive interpretive programsDesign creative displays and mini‐exhibitsEngage visitors through hands‐on environmental educationSupport and mentor volunteersAssist with school programs and EcoCamp day campsConduct visitor surveys and gather feedbackSupport communications, social media, and reportingCollaborate with partners and board membersContribute ideas to help grow and strengthen the CentreThis role is ideal for students interested in marine biology, environmental science, conservation, education,
