With a focus on high-quality metal stamping, DBG is seeking a tool designer with at least 8 years in mechanical design. You will create current tooling and modify existing designs while collaborating with the tool room and outside vendors. Your expertise in SolidWorks and Fabrication techniques will drive project success.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design new stamping dies and welding fixtures
• Modify existing tooling for continuous improvement
• Create BOMs and detailed production drawings
• Communicate part and drawing changes effectively
• Complete special design projects as assigned
Requirements:
• Bachelor's or Master’s in Mechanical Engineering
• 8 years of mechanical design experience
• Proficiency in SolidWorks and AutoCAD
• 3+ years in stamping die and assembly fixture design
• Willingness to work overtime as needed
