Our expectations:
The Data analyst in the Spare parts department is responsible for automation and improvement of various reports. He also develops data analytics tools to detect and anticipate issues. He assumes responsibility for several components of a project or a complex component of a larger project. He contributes to his team or department by applying his knowledge of several functional areas.
This is a full time position from Monday to Friday with flexible hours, based in Longueuil , and performed exclusively on-site
What your day to day will look like:
Automate and improve existing reports
Develop through Power BI, tools and reports to enable better decision-making in Spare parts organisation
Develop processes and methodology to improve the quality of the master data (Pricing, ELM codes,
model family group, ...)
Contribute at improving the artificial intelligence (AI) models (modeling , visualisation, ...)
What you need to be successful:
Must haves:
Bachelor's degree in engineering, applied science, management science or another relevant domain
7 years of relevant experience
Knowledge in programming (ideally Python)
Knowledge of visualisation tools (ideally Power BI)
Excellent knowledge of Excel (VBA)
Organizational skills and ability to work under pressure with competing and varying priorities
Data management skills
Developed analytical mindset (debugging)
Project management skills
Business Analysis competencies (communication)
This position is part of a French-speaking work environment, it requires a very good knowledge of English to read and understand, on a daily basis, documentation and technical terms that may emanate from international organizations, as well as to write and communicate in English with customers, suppliers or international colleagues.
