Position Summary
We are currently looking for a hard working and dedicated Supervisor, Environmental Services to fill a Casual position at Gateway Lodge.

In accordance with the established mission, vision, values, and strategic priorities of Northern Health, and under the general supervision of Manager or designate, this position is responsible for the day-to-day operations and supervision of Environmental Services Staff at assigned facilities. Working within the scope of Northern Health (NH) Regional Policies and Processes, performs and/ or directs the performance of a variety of environmental services duties and coordinates work assignments in relation to operational needs. Carries out related administrative duties. Participates in continuous quality improvement activities.

Qualifications

Grade 10, plus three (3) years' recent, related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

Skills and Abilities:

Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.

Ability to deal with others effectively.

Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position.

Ability to supervise.

Ability to organize work.

Ability to operate related equipment.
