We are looking for a Project Analyst to support the management of manufacturing signals in an aeronautical environment. The person will play a key role in data monitoring, impact analysis, process optimization, and coordination with various teams to ensure information reliability and adherence to deadlines.
Main responsibilities
Signal Management and Integrity
Ensure the rigorous and timely integration and updating of manufacturing signals in systems.
Continuously validate the accuracy of integrated signals and correct discrepancies at the source.
Ensure data consistency between systems (ERP, planning, purchasing & engineering).
Identify anomalies, understand their root cause, and initiate corrective actions.
Control
Hold responsibility for entering, maintaining, and protecting key dates.
Control and arbitrate any date changes to prevent unvalidated or unjustified modifications.
Guarantee the alignment of dates between signals, the master plan, and execution schedules.
Ensure traceability of date changes and communicate impacts to stakeholders.
Impact Analysis
Evaluate the impact of date signal changes on the production plan, capacity, and schedules.
Translate signal changes into concrete implications for planning and execution teams.
Work with planners to provide data-driven recommendations for prioritization and arbitration.
Specific Signal Management
Perform BOM “Bill of Materials” ordering : enter and validate order signals and track them.
Project Realignment : adjust signals and dates during reprioritization or project changes.
ECN Management : integrate Engineering Change Notices into signals and evaluate repercussions on deliverables and the master plan.
Temporary Offload : manage signals related to load transfer and measure their effects/required adjustments on capacity.
Other signals requiring intervention and potentially impacting the production plan.
Continuous Improvement and Standardization
Standardize, document & maintain signal entry and processing processes and eliminate sources of error.
Contribute to the automation and reliability of data flows.
Propose and lead automation initiatives (automated queries, intelligent alerts, dashboards) to reduce manual tasks and improve reliability.
Act as a driver of digital innovation for the team by identifying opportunities for process simplification and optimization.
Be part of CAE’s transformation and apply new concepts impacting signals such as the integration of an MBOM “Manufacturing Bill of Materials” & others.
Desired Profile
Bachelor’s degree, ideally in engineering or administration.
3 to 5 years of relevant experience.
Strong analytical skills, rigor, and attention to detail.
Strong team spirit and good interpersonal skills.
Autonomy and respect for deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Effective communication with various stakeholders.
Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
In-depth proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite.
Familiarity with an ERP, preferably Oracle.
Problem-solving aptitude: gather information, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Familiarity with PLM or the structure of a BOM “Bill of Material” / engineering concepts.
Understanding of assembly sequences and critical paths.
Asset: reports via SQL, VBA, Power Query (M), Power BI.
Bilingualism French-English required.
