As a member of the Corporate Actuarial team, you will support reserving projects and initiatives utilizing actuarial models and programming skills. Your solid analytical abilities will enhance monthly, quarterly, and annual reserve reporting, ensuring accurate communication of key actuarial functions. This position is open to those with a post-secondary degree in Mathematics or Actuarial Science, and relevant actuarial experience in the Property and Casualty field is a plus.
Key Responsibilities:
• Contribute to regulatory reserving analyses using various data sources
• Support monthly and annual reserve reporting processes
• Communicate actuarial concepts clearly to peers
• Maintain and update documentation of key functions
• Leverage critical thinking to solve actuarial problems
Requirements:
• Post-secondary degree in Mathematics or Actuarial Science
• Pursuing ACAS or FCAS designations is an asset
• Basic knowledge of modeling software and programming languages
• Relevant experience in Property & Casualty actuarial field
• Proficiency in English essential for client interactions
