Our Vancouver based accounting services client is currently seeking a Senior Accountant to join the team.

Must have IFRS experience with a publicly listed company **Salary ranging from $75,000 to $85,000 + benefits** Advantages: * Excellent work life balance * Friendly and team oriented environment Key Responsibilities * Prepare quarterly and year-end financial statements, including MD&A;, in accordance with IFRS * Complete consolidations, foreign currency translations, and related working papers * Provide financial and variance analysis across balance sheet and income statement accounts * Support annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes * Assist with month-end and period-end close activities, including select bookkeeping and journal entries * Coordinate year-end audit planning and act as a liaison with external auditors * Support continuous disclosure requirements and address complex accounting issues such as acquisitions and stock-based compensation Qualifications * CPA designation (asset) * Experience with public company reporting under IFRS * Advanced Excel skills * Proficiency with Quick
