Position Description The ideal candidate brings a wealth of knowledge and leadership within the print environment, combined with the proven ability to guide and nurture a diverse team of print press operators and print production personnel.
The Press Manager will be responsible for ensuring smooth and efficient production processes.
This includes managing a team of print press operators and production personnel, troubleshooting production issues, and maintaining a safe and organized work environment.
The successful candidate will demonstrate adaptability and flexibility in a fast-paced production setting, using their leadership and coaching abilities to motivate and develop their team.
Manage the day-to-day operations of the print production floor Ensure safety and efficiency of all production processes Lead, coach, and develop a team of print press operators and production personnel Implement operational policies and procedures to meet company standards and objectives Coordinate with other departmental managers to optimize productivity and efficiency Troubleshoot and resolve production issues promptly to prevent delays Continuously monitor and report on production performance and progress Experience 5 to 10 years of experience within a print workplace is required 3 to 5 years of experience within a press supervisor or manager role is required Experience working with print press operators and print production personnel Demonstrated leadership abilities, with a strong emphasis on coaching and development Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
