The Tractor Technician is a permanent, full-time position. You will work in conjunction with the Service Coordinator, Trailer Technician/Mechanics and Tractor Technician/Mechanics to complete preventative maintenance and repairs on the Bison fleet in a timely and productive manner by diagnosing problems found during inspections prescribing the correct remedial action.

Qualifications:

- Must be a Licensed Tractor Technician
- Experience working on tractors as aHeavy Equipment Apprentice or Technician
- Previous experience and qualification to perform Safeties are considered mandatory in this position
- Demonstrated diagnosing and time-management abilities
- Ability to provide superior customer service to our Drivers
- Support and encourage Apprentices throughout their apprenticeship
- Basic level computer skills (paperless work order entry)
- Ability to work unsupervised
- Hold a valid Driver’s License.
- May stand and walk on level and uneven surfaces, twist, bend, push, pull, crouch, climb stairs, bend and crawl, grasp, drag,liftand carry items weighing 50lbsor less.

Location and Shift Schedules:

- South Shop - Wrangler Road, Rocky View, AB - Evening shift: This position is subject to 4-10 hour evenings, Monday to Thursday afternoon shift schedule, hours of work are 16:00 – 2:30.
