Job Description The Orthopedic Technologist will work under the direction of the orthopedic/plastic surgeons and in collaboration with other members of the health care team of professionals in the fracture clinic.

Accountabilities: Provides care to clients with orthopedic problems through the application, adjustment and removal of a variety of cast splints and traction fittings following medical orders of the orthopedic/plastic surgeon or the most responsible physician of the patient Qualifications Grade 12 or equivalent required Current registration with Canadian Society of Orthopedic Technologist required Three years experienceas an orthopedic technologist required Good communication skills (verbal and written) required Emergency experience required Good interpersonal skills, ability to work with a multidisciplinary team required Knowledge and use of basic computer program preferred Must demonstrate Osler''s Values of Respect, Excellence, Service, Compassion,
