At Macfab, we're seeking CNC Machinists who can operate 3, 4, and 5-axis vertical milling machines across afternoon shifts. You will set up machines, change tooling, and ensure machines run efficiently while adhering to high safety standards. Your role will support numerous industries including defence, optics, and aerospace.
Key Responsibilities:
• Set up and operate various CNC vertical milling machines
• Adjust feeds and speeds for efficiency and safety
• Measure and inspect parts for dimensional accuracy
• Modify programs and tools as necessary
• Read blueprints and interpret geometric tolerancing
Requirements:
• Minimum 3+ years of experience in CNC machining
• Certificate or training in CNC machining is an asset
• Experience with Fanuc or Haas controllers required
• Familiarity with Mastercam preferred
• Job shop or aerospace experience is a plus
