Shape literacy success as a part-time Learning Enhancement Teacher in the Nicola-Similkameen School District. Collaborate with educators to implement Fountas and Pinnell literacy strategies across grades K-12.

This temporary position (0.20 FTE) begins on September 8, 2026, and ends on June 30, 2027. You will significantly impact students' reading through collaborative instructional planning and modeling effective teaching practices. The schedule will be adaptable and determined in partnership with the Assistant Superintendent.

Key Responsibilities:
• Support implementation of Fountas and Pinnell LLI Kits
• Co-teach and model classroom instruction for educators
• Adapt assessments and materials for diverse student needs
• Provide strategies for IEP goal implementation
• Contribute to student learning assessments and updates

Requirements:
• Valid BC Teaching Certificate
• Experience with K-12 student instruction
• Strong understanding of the BC Curriculum
• Teaching category five or higher
• Commitment to diverse learning needs
