NHS GGC is seeking a permanent Consultant in Vascular Surgery to deliver services across multiple acute care settings. You will engage in both clinical oversight and surgical support in a collaborative setting serving a population of approximately 1.5 million. Responsibilities include outpatient clinics and participation in teaching junior medical staff while ensuring quality patient care through active involvement in the NHS National Vascular Registry.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide surgical care in the hybrid and interventional radiology theatres
• Engage in outpatient clinical duties and day surgery
• Train and assess junior medical staff and participate in education
• Contribute to the National Vascular Registry’s administrative duties
• Participate in the On Call rota for emergency care
Requirements:
• Broad vascular surgical training and GMC registration
• Evidence of Higher Specialist Training or equivalent
• Ability to support adaptable working arrangements
• Commitment to continuous professional development
• Experience in teaching and mentoring
