Become a key player in AECL’s mission as the Director of Field Operations Oversight. This role demands expertise in operational awareness and site-based oversight, ensuring informed decision-making across locations in Canada.

As a vital part of AECL, reporting to the Executive Vice President, you will provide owner-side oversight and lead a team focused on collecting field data and ensuring operational realities influence governance. You will engage with multiple stakeholders to uphold AECL's mission and establish strong working relationships while evaluating evidence for critical decisions.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide oversight of S&T; and waste operations
• Oversee field activities and site observations
• Develop oversight plans ensuring accuracy of evidence




• Integrate intelligence into project oversight activities
• Collaborate with executives and community stakeholders

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, or related discipline
• Extensive site operations experience in regulated environments
• Skilled designation such as P.Eng. is an asset
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Proven risk assessment abilities
