Working within the Culture and Recreation department, you will report directly to the Manager of Recreation, Community Partnerships, and Strategic Projects. Your mission will involve developing and implementing inclusive recreational programs, enhancing access for community members with disabilities. Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement inclusive recreation practices
• Design and improve accessible programs for all
• Train and mentor part-time staff and volunteers
• Coordinate inclusion support for recreation activities
• Collaborate with stakeholders for effective services
Requirements:
• University Degree in Social Services or related field
• 2-3 years in coordinating Inclusion Programming
• 3-5 years working with individuals with disabilities
• Valid Class G driver’s license
• First Aid/CPR certification required
