Your Opportunity
Join our Personal Debt Solutions team as a Junior Insolvency Analyst on our Proposals team , where you'll play a key role in supporting the following responsibilities:

Reviewing consumer proposals for acceptance by creditors or whether proposal negotiations are required

Assisting with negotiating with the debtor and creditors on amendments to the consumer proposals

Assisting with chairing meetings of creditors and drafting minutes of the meeting

Responding to debtors’ inquiries in a timely manner

Answering questions relating to the consumer proposal

Liaising with team members to ensure productive, diligent, and timely administration of the consumer proposal

Participating in ongoing training to improve technical knowledge

Completing other duties as assigned

Your Experience And Education

Post-secondary education is an asset

One or more years of relevant work experience in a financial service environment; Insolvency, Banking, Finance,



Credit Counseling or other relevant areas

Previous insolvency experience (asset but not required)

Great interpersonal skills to deal with team members, debtors, and creditors

Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills to respond to different situations

Strong attention to detail in a fast-paced environment

Takes personal ownership and responsibility for the quality and timeliness of work

Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word & Excel

Excellent time management and organizational skills

A team player who can also work independently
