This full-time role requires senior leadership to champion Indigenous relations at Waterfront Toronto, ensuring plans reflect Indigenous rights and knowledge systems. You'll guide policy development, facilitate community engagement, and promote education on Indigenous issues across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide strategic advice on Indigenous relations and decolonization
• Develop and implement the Indigenous relations strategy
• Represent the organization with Indigenous communities and governments
• Enable organization-wide integration of reconciliation principles
• Support Indigenous-related initiatives and partnerships
Requirements:
• Advanced knowledge of Indigenous governance and worldview
• Solid understanding of environmental stewardship principles
• Proven ability to navigate complex delivery environments
• Experience building trusted relationships with Indigenous stakeholders
• Post-secondary degree in Indigenous Studies or related field
