At Gambles, you’ll be crucial to maintaining quality standards for our produce. Reporting to the Operations Manager, your role includes performing inspections and supporting the ripening team. Your expertise in CFIA/USDA guidelines will ensure that our shipments meet the highest quality expectations for retail and foodservice customers.

Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain Gambles’ quality specifications rigorously
• Perform quality assessments during inbound receiving
• Follow up on quality control for previously received items
• Conduct outbound checks for select customers
• Identify sub-par products for disposition daily

Requirements:
• Post-secondary education in food science or agriculture
• Knowledge of CFIA grading standards preferred
• Robust communication skills in English, both written and verbal
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in a warehouse
• Familiarity with PPE and Occupational Health and Safety Act
