Become a vital part of TransAlta’s Hydro Renewables team as a Facility Operator in Revelstoke, BC. Responsible for maintaining and safely operating the Small Hydro facility.

In this full time, on-site position, you will report to the Manager of Asset Hydro. Your work will ensure compliance with operational models and focus on optimizing schedules to maximize production. You will be pivotal in supervising maintenance efforts and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure compliance with TransAlta's operational model
• Execute and plan routine operations and maintenance
• Optimize production schedules with stakeholders
• Conduct safety checks and report to Dam Safety team
• Foster collaborative relationships with team members and contractors

Requirements:
• Journeyman Electrical/Millwright Ticket required
• 3-5 years of relevant power generation experience
• Knowledge of hydro conveyance systems
• Strong computer skills in Microsoft and SAP
• Valid driver's license with willingness to travel
