Elevate your engineering career as an Operations Technician (2nd Class Power Engineer) with Air Products at the Scotford facility. This role focuses on monitoring and optimizing hydrogen production processes while collaborating with maintenance and technical teams.

In this position, you'll report to the Chief Power Engineer/Site Supervisor, ensuring safe operations of highly automated hydrogen production assets. You will perform regular field inspections, support plant turnarounds, and maintain operating procedures. Your expertise in the operational aspects of hydrogen production is crucial for our mission.

Key Responsibilities:
• Control and monitor continuous hydrogen production processes
• Operate steam systems, compressors, and DCS systems
• Conduct field readings, inspections,



and water testing
• Prepare and maintain MOC and audit documentation
• Monitor contractor activities ensuring compliance

Requirements:
• Second Class Power Engineering Certificate or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years of plant operations experience
• Experience in hydrogen or related industries preferred
• Competency in Microsoft Office and SAP
• Solid communication skills and mechanical aptitude
