Reporting to the General Manager of the Longueuil Manufacturing Center, as the Manager of the MED Tooling and Services, you will be responsible for the overall production management of a set of engine parts manufacturing and service departments. You will navigate a cutting-edge technological environment that includes manufacturing processes such as machining, welding, surface treatments,



and quality inspection. You will work in a high-performance setting, face challenges such as increasing our capacity, and will need to demonstrate adaptability.

This position is located at our Longueuil facility from Monday to Friday, exclusively on-site.

What will your day-to-day look like?

Lead a team of managers in the execution of daily operations for development parts, tooling, and the warehouse team, considering the defined plan, priorities, and available resources.

Ensure the application of health & safety and environmental policies and improve risk management by improving practices.

Provide regular updates to management on project status, deliveries, and operational challenges, demonstrating proactive prioritization.

Ensure the on-time delivery of all products in its portfolio and coordinate as needed with internal customers.

See to the planning and allocation of resources and materials for maximum use of manufacturing equipment and personnel.

Manage labor relations in connection with the business sector.

Manage an operational budget and ensure that objectives are met in terms of efficiency and productivity.





Participate in the continuous improvement of manufacturing operations and optimize processes.

Coach, motivate, and develop team members

Monitor performance indicators (quality, productivity, effectiveness, etc.) and implement appropriate measures and solutions

What do you need to succeed?

DEC or Bachelor`s degee with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in project management/operations/engineering

Ability to develop strong relationships with all levels of management

Decision-making and interpersonal skills

Ability to influence and act as a change agent

Team coaching skills

Ability to synthesize information, see the big picture, and improve processes

Proficient in computer skills (PowerPoint, Excel, Word) and knowledge of SAP

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Organizational skills and ability to work under pressure with competing and shifting priorities

Adaptability, perseverance, autonomy, and a positive attitude

Although this position is part of a French-speaking work environment, it requires a working knowledge of English to read and understand specialized instructions, plans, drawings and technical terms that may emanate from international organizations, as well as to write and sometimes communicate in English with customers, suppliers or international colleagues.
